How can I charge the Skimmi in low sunlight?
If there is no direct sunlight in the pool, you can remove the skimmer and place it in a sunny location for it to charge. It takes 2.5 hours to fully charge in direct sunlight, but longer in indirect sunlight.
Note that placing it on hot pavement can damage the battery – place the Skimmi on the lawn or yard furniture.
Before setting the robot out to charge, rinse the filter drawer to prevent debris from hardening in the filter tray.
Also, remember not to fully insert the filter tray to prevent the robot from operating while charging (if the skimmer is set on Auto Start).
