How to log in to the MyDolphin Plus app using OTP?
Maytronics has implemented new Security Upgrades related to the App Login in May 2024. We will be moving to an OTP (One-Time Password) Login system! This will simplify your login process and add increased security to your account.
If you can access the email address that is connected to the Facebook User or Google Play, then you can use that same email for the OTP login.
To make the switch to OTP login for easier login and better security, follow these steps:
- Open the MyDolphinPlus app on your smart device.
- On the login screen, enter your registered email address. The code will be sent in up to 3 minutes.
- Check your email inbox for the OTP sent from Maytronics. The code will be valid for 5 minutes.
- Enter the OTP in the designated field within the app.
Make sure to have the latest app version downloaded for the OTP to work.
If an Apple ID, Facebook, or Google Play login was used to create an account, choose between two options:
1. Login with the previously used email account.
OR
2. Sign up with a new email account. Note that this will require completing the robot-app pairing process again.
If the app was only paired with the robot via Bluetooth, it is still necessary to complete the robot-app pairing process again after going through the OTP.
