How to replace the brushes on my Dolphin robot?

Choose your robot model and which brush from the following list:



FRONT BRUSH:





  1. Unplug the power supply from the outlet.
  2. Turn the robot upside-down.
  3. Remove the tracks from the robot.
  4. Remove the wheel disk with the flathead of the screwdriver.
  5. Rotate the wheel until the screw holding the drive gear is visible through the wheel.
  6. Unscrew the screw holding the white drive gear and then release the screw and gear.
  7. Gently pull out the old brush.
  8. Slide the new brush back into place, then return the gear to its place. Screw the gear holding the brush into place back in.
  9. Reinstall the wheel cover and tracks.
  10. Rotate the brush to ensure everything is working smoothly.




  1. Unplug the power supply from the outlet.
  2. Turn the robot upside-down.
  3. Remove the tracks from the robot.
  4. Remove the wheel disk with the flathead of the screwdriver.
  5. Rotate the wheel until the screw holding the drive gear is visible through the wheel.
  6. Unscrew the screw holding the white drive gear and then release the screw and gear.
  7. Gently pull out the old brush.
  8. Slide the new brush back into place, then return the gear to its place. Screw the gear holding the brush into place back in.
  9. Reinstall the wheel cover and tracks.
  10. Rotate the brush to ensure everything is working smoothly.






  1. Unplug the power supply from the outlet.

  3. Using a Phillips screwdriver, unscrew the four screws holding the brush into place.
  4. Remove the old brush.
  5. Reinstall the new brush and insert the four screws.
  6. Rotate the brush to ensure that everything is working smoothly.


S300 (E35/E35i, Proteus DX5i, Active 30, T35/T45, Premium 40, Explorer E30, E40i, Active 30i, T55i)

S400 (E50i, Active 50, Explorer E50)




  1. Unplug the power supply from the outlet.
  2. Remove the tracks from the robot.
  3. Using a Phillips screwdriver, unscrew the four screws holding the brush into place.
  4. Remove the old brush.
  5. Reinstall the new brush and insert the four screws.
  6. Rotate the brush to ensure that everything is working smoothly.




  1. Use a flathead screwdriver to gently push out the brush until it pops out.
  2. Place the new brush in the same position.
  3. Press it inside to make sure it's in place.
  4. Rotate the wheels to make sure it's working.



MIDDLE BRUSH:





  1. Unplug the power supply from the outlet.
  2. Flip the robot upside-down.
  3. Release all four screws from each corner that are holding the brush.
  4. Remove the brush from the robot.
  5. Place them in the same position as the new brush.
  6. Insert and tighten the four screws.



REAR BRUSH:





  1. Unplug the power supply from the outlet.
  2. Flip the robot upside-down.
  3. Remove the tracks from the robot.
  4. Gently release the brush from the notches on the sides and remove the brush.
  5. Place the new brush in the same position as the previous brush.
  6. Reinstall the tracks on each side.
  7. Rotate the brush to ensure that everything is working smoothly.

S300 (E35/E35i, Proteus DX5i, Active 30, T35/T45, Premium 40, Explorer E30, E40i, Active 30i, T55i)

S400 (E50i, Active 50, Explorer E50)




  1. Unplug the power supply from the outlet.
  2. Flip the robot upside-down.
  3. Remove the tracks from the robot.
  4. Gently release the brush from the notches on the sides and remove the brush.
  5. Place the new brush in the same position as the previous brush.
  6. Reinstall the tracks on each side.
  7. Rotate the brush to ensure that everything is working smoothly.



  1. Use a flathead screwdriver to gently push out the brush until it pops out.

  3. Press it inside to make sure it's in place.
  4. Rotate the wheels to make sure it's working.
