My Power Supply works, but the Robot does not start
If your robot doesn't start cleaning after powering it on, or if the main LED of the IoT Power Supply shows a Red light, complete the following troubleshooting steps to try and resolve the issue:
Note: If the Power Supply Unit doesn't turn on, please click here for the relevant troubleshooting steps.
1. Restart the Power Supply Unit:
- Unplug the black cable from the outlet.
- Disconnect the blue cable from the power supply.
- Plug the power supply into a different outlet to verify that the issue isn't with the electrical outlet.
- Reattach the blue cable back to the power supply and attempt to turn the unit on.
2. Check the impeller:
If debris is trapped in the impeller, open it, remove the debris, and reassemble it. For safety, use a Phillips screwdriver. Do not use a power drill. Click here to see how to clean your impeller.
3. Check the tracks:
Turn the robot upside down and try rotating the brushes by hand. Does it make any strange noises? If it does, take a closer look. Check the tracks, brushes, and every nook and cranny for any obstructions or visible damage. Click here to see how to clean the tracks.
