What cleaning schedule settings does the Skimmi have?
These are the cleaning schedule settings the MyDolphin Skimmi has and the recommended usage:
Here you can set the cleaning cycle duration during the day (recommended for days with full sunlight).
Skimmi finds direct sunlight and pauses work according to the chosen pause interval to charge the battery. If the battery is full, it doesn’t pause.
Here you can set the cleaning cycle duration at night. Note that this cycle is shorter because the robot cannot recharge at night.
Skimmi pauses in between cleaning cycles for the chosen pause interval. Note that the pause intervals available are longer so that the robot doesn't drain the battery.
This setting delays the start of the first cleaning until after dawn or dusk.
This setting is useful in low-light conditions. The skimmer charges fully in the morning before beginning its cleaning cycle. Then it waits until a few hours after dusk to start working, to ensure there is enough battery power remaining to clean the pool thoroughly in the evening hours.
Be careful not to set it for long work periods in low-light conditions because it has no way to recharge itself and this can drain the battery.
