FAQ

Do you have a question?

My Dolphin does not climb the walls.

Your Dolphin's climbing frequency is every 4-5 minutes (so not every time the robot encounters a wall).

If you notice that your Dolphin has difficulty climbing the walls, we advise you to follow the following steps :

  • Check that the filters are not dirty or clogged (although the filters may look clean, small particles may dry on the material and clog it). It is recommended to clean the bag or cartridges after each use, but deeper cleaning may be required.
  • Ensure that the filters basket is properly installed, tightly fitted, with no visible gaps and that the filter panels are properly clipped to the bracket.
  • Check that the impeller is clean and free of debris.

If the Dolphin still does not climb the walls, please test a 10-15 minutes cycle by removing the filters.

If the Dolphin climbs without the filters, then you might need to replace them.

Water chemicals balance is essential for optimal use of your Dolphin!

Make sure that the water in your pool is balanced and free of algae. If your Dolphin tries to climb but slips on the wall, try brushing it manually with a broom brush until the deposits are removed. If necessary, rebalance your pool water.

Finally, if the robot has this feature, you can check that the cycle of your cleaning program is set to normal (long) mode.

For all these manipulations, we advise you to consult the user manual of your robot, you will need to indicate the model of your Dolphin robot.

If, despite all these checks, the issue is not resolved, please contact Support.
